Tara Knight

Tara started practicing yoga almost 15 years ago as a way to implement a slower, dynamic workout into her fitness routine. As a former dancer, she quickly fell in love with the way yoga allowed her to find balance, control, and self expression in her movement again. Over the course of those years, her personal practice has evolved as she discovered the important role yoga plays in supporting the mind-body connection. After a cancer diagnosis in 2018, Tara returned to yoga to find its healing benefits. It has allowed her to regain her physical and mental strength, and continues to help her manage side effects from ongoing treatment. In Spring 2023, she wanted to learn more and deepen her practice. She received her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification under the guidance of the Grateful Yoga Jesse Cassady and SoulFire Collective’s Brooke and Kat Wyman. Simply put, Tara feels that yoga makes everything better. She hopes to create a space that encourages you to show up on your mat as your truest self, and leave feeling stronger, energized, and more connected with your breath.
